The great outdoors and the world of NASCAR have a lot in common. A great many NASCAR fans are also fishing and boating enthusiasts. And so it's no surprise that we at TRACKER® Boats have been excited about our growing involvement with racing. Our affiliation with NASCAR dates back to 1998, when we joined our sister company, Bass Pro Shops®, in sponsoring #3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus Monte Carlo driven by the legendary Dale Earnhardt. In 2002, when Bass Pro teamed with MBNA Bank to sponsor the Atlanta 500 Race, TRACKER and NITRO® boats were on the track setting the stage for driver introductions. TRACKER Boats was also in the winner's circle, as Bobby Labonte, was awarded a TRACKER Avalanche along with the winner's trophy. Our relationship with great racing competitors led us to team up with NASCAR and Action Performance, the leader in licensed motorsports merchandise, to bring you Castaway Collectables -- a 1:24 scale version of our NITRO 911 performance bass boat decked out in the colors of some of the sport's most popular race drivers. In 2004, we proudly sponsored the Chance 2 Motorsports NASCAR Busch Series entry driven by rookie driver & 2004 Busch Series Champion Martin Truex, Jr., and of Richard Childress Racing (RCR) No. 33 driven by Kerry Earnhardt in five NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series races. For 2005, TRACKER Boats continues our racing tradition with sponsorship of Martin Truex, Jr. #1 car in seven NEXTEL Cup Series races, along with a full season of sponsorship for both Truex’s #8 Busch series car and Kerry Earnhardt’s #33 car. Our association with NASCAR is unique among boat companies and, as America's Favorite Boats, we are proud to be associated with NASCAR competitors and fans in this exciting sport.
