TRACKER BOATS AND CHANCE 2 MOTORSPORTS HEAD FOR THE TRACK IN BUSCH SERIES


FEB 6, 2004-- Chance 2 Motorsports, Bass Pro Shops and TRACKER® Boats announced today they have reached a sponsorship agreement for the team's 2004 NASCAR Busch Series season with rookie driver, Martin Truex, Jr. Chance 2 Motorsports, co-owned by Teresa Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., will have Bass Pro Shops and TRACKER Boats on board as primary sponsors for 17 of the scheduled 34 Busch races. Chance 2 will open the season at Daytona International Speedway with the No. 81 Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER Boats Chevrolet, but will revert to the team's regular No. 8 on the Chevrolet thereafter.

The long-standing relationship between the Earnhardt Family, Bass Pro Shops and TRACKER began with Dale Earnhardt, the seven-time NASCAR champion, in The Winston 1998 at Lowe's Motor Speedway when Dale ran a special paint scheme on his No. 3 Chevrolet.

Truex, Jr, who drove a limited schedule for Chance 2 last year with impressive results, is looking forward to becoming a part of the Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER Boats relationship with Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Chance 2. "We are ready for the season to begin as all the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit," said Truex Jr. "Kevin "Bono" Manion (crew chief) and I have the same favorite hobbies of hunting and fishing."
